Uptime Monitoring Overview
Public Probes
Section titled “Public Probes”Bleemeo monitors the latency and availability of your public services from several locations around the world:
America
- Ohio USA
Europe
- Frankfurt Germany
- Milan Italy
- Paris France
- Spain Spain
- Stockholm Sweden
Asia
- Singapore Singapore
By default, checks are only enabled on probes located in Europe (Frankfurt, Milan, Paris, Spain, and Stockholm). You can enable additional probes in Ohio (North America) and Singapore (Asia) from the monitor configuration page.
When you add a monitor, your service is checked at regular intervals (frequency depends on your plan) from the selected probe locations. An alert is raised when the majority of probes fail to reach the service. The monitor dashboard shows the response time from each probe location.
Private Probes
Section titled “Private Probes”You can use any Glouton agent as a private probe. This allows you to monitor URLs that are only accessible from your internal network, or to add probe locations anywhere in the world where you have a Glouton agent running.
