Bleemeo collects metrics for Azure Load Balancers via Azure Monitor (Microsoft.Network/loadBalancers namespace). Metrics are polled every 1 minute.

Metrics

Metric	Description
lb_data_path_availability	Percentage of successful data path health checks on the load balancer's frontend
lb_health_probe_status	Percentage of backend instances responding successfully to health probes
lb_packet_count	Number of packets processed
lb_byte_count	Number of bytes processed
lb_snat_connection_count	Number of new outbound SNAT connections established

Note

None of these metrics report data for a period without matching activity — an idle load balancer with no traffic and no configured health probe publishes nothing at all. A gap on the graph does not mean monitoring stopped.

Permissions

Requires the Monitoring Reader role and the Microsoft.Insights resource provider registered on the subscription — see Permissions Summary.
