Sandbox Mode

When you create a new account, Bleemeo automatically adds sandbox data—realistic demo content that lets you explore all features without connecting real infrastructure.

What's Included

Sandbox mode adds sample data to help you understand the platform:

  • Demo agent — A simulated server with metrics and services
  • Demo monitor — An uptime check showing status history
  • Sample dashboard — Pre-built visualizations with the demo data
  • Sample events — Alert history and status changes

Sandbox data is clearly marked with a special icon so you can distinguish it from your real data.

Working with Sandbox

Sandbox doesn’t interfere with real data. You can:

  • Add your own servers while sandbox is active
  • Create your own dashboards and monitors
  • Keep sandbox for demos or training purposes

Toggling sandbox mode:

The first time you log in, you’ll see a popup on the home page to disable sandbox data. You can also:

  1. Go to your Account settings
  2. Find the Sandbox toggle
  3. Enable or disable as needed

Changes take effect immediately.

  • New users: Explore the interface before deploying agents
  • Demos: Show Bleemeo features to colleagues without exposing production data
  • Training: Learn how to use dashboards, alerts, and integrations
  • Testing: Validate notification rules with sample events
