Create a Personal Access Token

You’ll need a PAT (Personal Access Token) to authenticate with Jira:

For Jira Cloud:

  1. Go to Atlassian Account Settings
  2. Click Create API token
  3. Give it a name and copy the token

For Jira Server/Data Center:

  1. Go to your profile settings
  2. Navigate to Personal Access Tokens
  3. Create a new token with appropriate permissions

Add the Integration in Bleemeo

  1. Go to the Integrations page
  2. Click Add Integration and select Jira
  3. Enter your credentials:
    • Personal Access Token: Your PAT from step 1
    • Email (Jira Cloud only): Your Atlassian account email
    • URL (Self-hosted only): Your Jira server URL
  4. Give it a descriptive name

Configure Notification Rules

  1. Go to Notifications
  2. Create a new rule or edit an existing one
  3. In the Targets step, select your Jira integration
  4. Enter the Project Key (e.g., OPS, INFRA)
