Create GitLab issues automatically when Bleemeo detects infrastructure problems. Works with both GitLab.com and self-hosted GitLab instances.

Create a Personal Access Token

  1. In GitLab, go to User SettingsAccess Tokens
  2. Click Add new token
  3. Give it a name (e.g., “Bleemeo Integration”)
  4. Select the api scope (read/write API access)
  5. Create and copy the token

Add the Integration in Bleemeo

  1. Go to the Integrations page
  2. Click Add Integration and select GitLab
  3. Paste your Personal Access Token
  4. (Optional) For self-hosted GitLab, enter your instance URL
  5. Give it a descriptive name

Configure Notification Rules

  1. Go to Notifications
  2. Create a new rule or edit an existing one
  3. In the Targets step, select your GitLab integration
  4. Enter the project path (e.g., mygroup/infrastructure)

  • Set up issue boards: Track alerts on a dedicated GitLab issue board
  • Use milestones: Group related incidents under milestones for tracking
