Bleemeo provides comprehensive server monitoring capabilities through the Glouton agent. Once installed, the agent automatically discovers and monitors your infrastructure without requiring manual configuration.
Key Features
Section titled “Key Features”- Automatic Discovery: The agent automatically detects running services, containers, and system resources
- Real-time Metrics: Collect and visualize metrics with up to 10-second resolution
- Smart Alerting: Get notified when metrics exceed thresholds or services become unavailable
- Zero Configuration: Most monitoring works out of the box with sensible defaults
- Low Overhead: The agent is designed to have minimal impact on system performance
What Gets Monitored
Section titled “What Gets Monitored”When you install the Bleemeo agent on a server, it automatically collects:
System Resources
Section titled “System Resources”- CPU: Usage, load average, per-core statistics, and steal time (for virtual machines)
- Memory: Used, free, cached, buffered, and swap usage
- Disk: Space usage, I/O operations, read/write throughput, and latency
- Network: Bandwidth, packets, errors, and connection states
Services and Applications
Section titled “Services and Applications”The agent automatically discovers over 100 services including databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (Apache, Nginx), message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and many more. Each discovered service gets:
- Availability checks (TCP connection tests or service-specific health checks)
- Service-specific metrics (queries per second, connections, cache hit rates, etc.)
Containers
Section titled “Containers”Docker and Kubernetes containers are automatically discovered with per-container metrics for CPU, memory, network, and disk I/O.
Monitoring Categories
Section titled “Monitoring Categories”Explore the detailed documentation for each monitoring category:
- Operating System - CPU, memory, disk, network, and system metrics collected by the agent
- Docker - Container monitoring and Docker-specific metrics
- Services Monitoring - Automatic service discovery and 100+ supported services
- Key Processes - Monitor specific processes for CPU and memory usage
- NVIDIA GPU - GPU monitoring for machine learning and compute workloads
Getting Started
Section titled “Getting Started”To start monitoring your servers:
- Install the Bleemeo agent on your server
- The agent will automatically register and start collecting metrics
- View your metrics in the Bleemeo dashboard
- Configure alerts to get notified of issues
