SSL & Domain Expiration

SSL Certificate Expiration Checks

Bleemeo monitors comes with an SSL certificate expiration check. This check is only performed on 'HTTPS' monitors . We will raise an alert in the following cases:

  • if your certificate expires in less than 20 days, a Warning alarm will be raised
  • if your certificate expires in less than 10 days, a Critical alarm will be raised

As for every alarm in Bleemeo, those alarms will show up in the Status Dashboard and can be notified.

Domain Name Expiration Checks

Bleemeo monitors allows you to check the expiration date of the domain name. We use WHOIS to retrieve this date and we do a check only once a day at the time of creation of the monitors, so the status can take a maximum of 24 hours to update. Obviously the metric will be updated only if WHOIS returns the expiration date of the domain. This doesn't work for all domains.

Like ssl certificates:

  • if your domaine name expires in less than 20 days, a Warning alarm will be raised
  • if your domaine name expires in less than 10 days, a Critical alarm will be raised

As for every alarm in Bleemeo, those alarms will show up in the Status Dashboard and can be notified.
